Production Engineer Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Production Planning & Execution:

• Develop and implement production schedules to meet project deadlines.
• Allocate resources effectively to maximize production efficiency.
• Monitor and optimize manufacturing processes to reduce waste and improve productivity.

Operations & Quality Control:

• Ensure adherence to quality control standards and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Conduct regular inspections to maintain compliance with industry specifications and customer requirements.
• Oversee raw material procurement and manage inventory levels efficiently.

Team Management & Coordination:

• Lead and supervise a team of production supervisors, technicians, and workers.
• Conduct training programs to enhance workforce skills and safety awareness.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and project management teams to ensure smooth execution of production tasks.

Process Improvement & Cost Management:

• Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Optimize labor and material costs while maintaining high-quality output.
• Monitor and control budgeting and cost-efficiency in the production process.

Safety & Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for workplace safety.
• Conduct safety audits and risk assessments regularly.

Key Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 8+ years in a PEB manufacturing plant, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of PEB fabrication, welding, roll forming, cutting, and painting processes.
• Software Proficiency: Experience with ERP systems, AutoCAD, and production planning tools.
• Leadership Skills: Ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and decision-making skills to troubleshoot and improve production processes.
• Communication Skills: Effective coordination with internal teams, suppliers, and clients.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in handling large-scale PEB projects.
• Knowledge of ISO, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Familiarity with statutory compliance and safety regulations in a manufacturing setup.
