Firmware Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain firmware for embedded systems in the home automation sector.
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to ensure optimal device performance.
• Implement and integrate wired communication protocols like UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, and Modbus.
• Perform testing, debugging, and validation to ensure firmware reliability and efficiency.
• Utilize debugging tools (JTAG, SWD, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes) for troubleshooting.
• Stay updated with advancements in embedded systems and firmware development.
• Provide technical support and participate in code reviews to drive continuous improvement.

What Were Looking For

• Bachelors degree in Electronics and Communication or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in firmware development for embedded systems.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++.
• Strong understanding of communication protocols (e.g., UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Modbus).
• Hands-on experience with microcontrollers, RTOS, and embedded tools.
• Familiarity with debugging processes and tools like JTAG and oscilloscopes.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
