HR Head Job Description
Position : Head of Human Resources (HR Head)
Reports to : HR Director
Location : [Koramangala]
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Summary :
The Head of Human Resources is responsible for developing and executing human resource strategies that support the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization. This includes areas such as talent acquisition, organizational development, employee engagement, compensation and benefits, performance management, and compliance. The HR Head will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership while fostering a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's mission and business goals.
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the HR team.
- Advise senior management on HR-related policies, procedures, and best practices.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning:
- Oversee recruitment and ensure hiring the best talent for key positions.
- Develop workforce planning strategies to meet business objectives.
- Build employer branding strategies to attract top talent.
Employee Relations & Engagement:
- Promote a positive workplace culture and employee engagement initiatives.
- Address and resolve employee concerns, grievances, and conflicts.
- Implement effective internal communication strategies.
Performance Management & Learning Development:
- Develop performance management systems, including KPIs and appraisals.
- Design training and development programs to enhance employee skills and leadership capabilities.
- Ensure leadership development and succession planning.
Compensation, Benefits & Compliance:
- Design and oversee compensation structures and benefits programs.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and industry standards.
- Monitor HR-related legal and regulatory changes and ensure adherence.
HR Analytics & Technology:
- Leverage HR analytics for workforce planning and decision-making.
- Oversee HR systems and technology to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Experience in [industry-specific knowledge, e.g., IT, manufacturing, healthcare, etc.].
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in HR technology and data analytics.
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws and compliance.
- Ability to drive change management and organizational transformation.
