As the Head of Department (HOD.

for Operations at the CWC, the Manager will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the company, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and resource planning.

The Manager will be expected to have a deep understanding of the pipe manufacturing industry, including technical knowledge of API and ISO standards.

They will also need to demonstrate strong leadership skills, with a focus on vision, customer focus, and resource management.


Principal Accountabilities.

Oversee all operational aspects of the company, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and resource planning.


Ensure compliance with API and ISO standards in pipe manufacturing.


Develop and manage the department's budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.


Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as necessary.


Foster a culture of entrepreneurship and global mindset within the department.


Lead with vision, setting clear goals and expectations for the team.


Maintain a strong focus on customer needs and expectations.


Encourage interdependencies and collaboration within the team and across the organization.


Ensure adherence to quality, health, safety, and environmental standards.

Serve as a functional expert in operation and QA/QC for the pipe industry.


Utilize analytical thinking and process orientation to drive operational efficiency.


Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting terms for the manufacturing industry.
