Pre Sales Business Analyst

Position Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Pre-Sales Business Analyst to join our team in Chandigarh. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis within the government sector, particularly for pre-sales activities. The role will involve engaging with potential government clients, understanding their needs, and developing tailored solutions to drive sales of technology solutions and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the sales team and stakeholders to understand client requirements, particularly in the government/public sector.
• Conduct in-depth business analysis to identify potential opportunities for technology solutions that align with client needs and objectives.
• Develop and present business cases, proposals, and product solutions tailored to government agencies and departments.
• Analyze existing government processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and propose technology-driven solutions to enhance efficiency, compliance, and citizen services.
• Collaborate with technical and product teams to design solutions that meet government regulations and policies.
• Assist in the preparation of responses to Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Request for Information (RFIs) from government entities.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to provide insights into government procurement trends and technology adoption.
• Provide valuable input during the sales cycle to ensure that business proposals and presentations are aligned with customer expectations.
• Engage with clients during the pre-sales phase, assisting them in defining their digital transformation or technology adoption needs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with government decision-makers, understanding their priorities and objectives.
• Provide input into the development of sales and marketing collateral focused on government solutions.
• Support project delivery teams by ensuring smooth transition from the pre-sales phase to implementation.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on pre-sales activities, especially in the government/public sector.
• Strong understanding of government policies, procurement processes, and digital solutions in the public sector.
• Experience in business process analysis, solution design, and requirements gathering for technology-driven solutions.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies, data analytics, AI/ML, and other digital transformation tools that are relevant for government clients.
• Proven track record of contributing to successful pre-sales presentations, proposals, and solution delivery.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience in creating and delivering compelling presentations and demonstrations for government clients.
• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Certifications in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP), Pre-Sales (e.g., salesforce certified), or similar certifications are a plus.
