Associate Vice President/Vice President - Actuary/Pricing

Role & responsibilities :

1. Review of product specification for new products

2. Ensuring pricing models are in line with companys internal guidelines and relevant regulations

3. Preparing filing documents to be submitted to IRDAI/ PMC

4. Preparing response to IRDAI queries on filing

5. Performing analysis of individual and group pricing models

6. Adept at using excels and creating macros to perform premium rate generation and profit testing

7. Assisting the Product team in setting up the system for new product launch

8. Support in creating meaningful relationships with relevant stakeholders like Sales, Investments, IT, Customer Service, Legal & Compliance and Risk

9. Good knowledge of Regulations/Circulars/Guidelines

10. Support in other areas of actuarial work on need basis

11. Good teamwork and positive attitude to work is a must

12. Team Management

Preferred candidate profile :

1. At least 5 years in product pricing is must

2. Proficient in Excel and word

3. Should have good understanding of actuarial principles

4. Qualified Actuary or Nearly qualified actuary with 13-14 papers
