Java Architect

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Software Architect with a strong background in building scalable, high-performance applications using Java, Spring Boot, and other modern technologies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing robust, distributed systems and will be well-versed in microservices architecture, real-time data processing, and cloud-based deployment strategies. As a Software Architect, you will play a key role in defining and guiding the technical direction of our projects, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with our business goals.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-quality, scalable, and reliable software architectures for complex, distributed systems.
• Define and manage the technology stack, ensuring optimal selection and utilization of tools, libraries, and frameworks, particularly Java, Spring Boot, and the surrounding ecosystem.
• Lead architectural discussions to ensure systems are designed for high availability, reliability, and scalability, utilizing Redis, Kafka, MySQL, MongoDB, and cloud technologies.
• Collaborate with development teams to break down complex problems into actionable steps and ensure alignment with architecture principles.
• Oversee the development and deployment of microservices, including data modeling, API design, and integration with messaging systems like Kafka.
• Implement caching strategies and optimize data storage and retrieval with Redis and MongoDB to ensure high-performance data access.
• Work with DevOps and cloud teams to define and implement CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure management, and improve system monitoring and alerting.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions and improvements.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 8+ years of software development experience, with at least 3 years in a software architect role.
• Proficiency in: Java, Spring Boot, MySQL, Redis, Kafka, MongoDB, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure).
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, event-driven design, and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Familiarity with performance tuning and scaling applications across different environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Agile and DevOps practices.
• Certification in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of security, data protection, and best practices for cloud-native applications.
