Manager - Warehouse Management

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Operations Management:

• Oversee the operations of warehouses across 36 branches to ensure efficiency, productivity, and adherence to company standards.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for warehouse performance, including inventory accuracy, order fulfilment rates, and delivery timelines.
• Work on consolidating from 36 to 20 branches max at PAN India level.
• Work on onboarding 3PL partners across Pan India locations.
• Drive strong MBR process to drive cost and process optimisation.

Inventory Control:

• Ensure accurate inventory management through regular audits and the implementation of robust stock control systems.
• Collaborate with the procurement and sales teams to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize obsolescence.
• Derive space optimisation to ensure cost efficiencies.

Logistics & Distribution:

• Develop and manage logistics strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods across branches.
• Liaise with transport partners and vendors to negotiate contracts and improve delivery efficiency.

Team Leadership & Training:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of warehouse and logistics personnel across branches.
• Conduct regular training sessions to ensure adherence to safety standards and operational excellence.

Compliance & Safety:

• Ensure all warehouse operations comply with legal and regulatory requirements, including health and safety standards.
• Implement and maintain workplace safety protocols to minimize risks and ensure employee well-being.

Process Improvement:

• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Leverage technology and automation tools to optimize warehouse and logistics operations.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors/masters degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics, preferably in a multi-branch setup.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale warehouse operations and teams.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and logistics software.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Familiarity with compliance requirements and safety standards in warehouse operations.
