Marketplace Associate - eCommerce

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Marketplace Executive to oversee and optimize our operations across multiple online marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, Flipkart, etc.). The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing listings, running ad campaigns, driving sales, and ensuring smooth marketplace operations while adhering to platform policies and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Marketplace Account Management:
• Manage accounts on Amazon, Flipkart, and other online marketplaces to ensure optimal performance.
• Ensure product listings are accurate, up-to-date, and optimized for maximum visibility and conversions.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the supply chain team to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
• Performance Optimization:
• Analyze sales trends, customer feedback, and marketplace analytics to identify growth opportunities.
• Optimize product rankings using SEO and advertising strategies.
• Address and resolve issues related to performance metrics, such as ODR, late shipments, or policy violations.
• Advertising & Promotions:
• Plan, execute, and manage ad campaigns (e.g., Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display) to maximize ROI on marketplaces.
• Develop and manage promotional campaigns such as deals, coupons, and discounts to boost sales.
• Utilize marketplace tools and analytics to monitor and improve advertising performance.
• Customer Service:
• Respond to customer queries and complaints through marketplace portals to maintain high satisfaction levels.
• Manage returns, refunds, and negative reviews, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
• Policy Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with marketplace policies and guidelines to avoid account suspension.
• Keep up-to-date with changes in platform algorithms and policies.
• Reporting & Analysis:
• Prepare regular performance reports, including sales, advertising spend, ad performance, and key metrics.
• Provide actionable insights and strategies to improve marketplace performance.
• Collaboration & Coordination:
• Work closely with the product, logistics, and finance teams to ensure smooth marketplace operations.
• Coordinate with marketing teams for consistent brand representation across platforms.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience managing e-commerce marketplaces, preferably Amazon and Flipkart.
• Proficiency in using marketplace tools (e.g., Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart Seller Hub).
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data-driven decision-making.
• Proven experience in running and optimizing PPC campaigns on marketplaces.
• Knowledge of SEO strategies specific to e-commerce platforms.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
