Laser Machine Programmer

Off role position

• Perform general operation and setting of machine.
• Follow and perform bending and laser procedures according to protocols.
• Select appropriate bending and cutting parameters (speed, power, focus) in line with the materials used for production.
• Good understanding of use of appropriate tools to keep machines in operation
• Create, modify and optimize laser cutting programs based on production requirements.
• Good knowledge of the measurement and usage of measuring instruments/devices, check for the gauges for the running part
• Good understanding of technical drawings to generate accurate bending and cutting patterns.
• Follow the stage drawing, control plan, poke yoke check sheet.
• During operations checking for the tools if in good conditions during the machining process to avoid accidents/damages to the machine and components
• Understanding of the production cycle time and target that needs to be achieved for the shift
• Daily maintenance of machines check sheet, hydraulic oil and machine cleaning to be done
• Problem solving, Ovality, GDT(Geometrical Dimensional Tolerance), 14 symbols,
• Availability, Performance and Quality- OEE Overall effective efficiency
• Regular attendance maintenance
