Production Engineer

Job Description:

• Plan and Organize manpower, material & equipment to achieve daily production target.
• Develop process improvements to effectively utilize equipment and materials to maximize production.
• Establish safe procedures, practices and comply environmental regulations.
• Evaluate current production activities and make recommendations for improvements.
• Implement cost reduction initiatives while maintaining high quality standards.
• Provide training and guidance to workers to accomplish production targets and quality.
• Supervise workmen & production process.
• Ensure discipline and motivate the team.
• Ensure that dispatches are made as per the customers requirements.
• Investigate problems, analyze root causes and derive resolutions.
• Knowledge of standards like IS, ASTM, ASI relating to metal fabrication.
• Record manufacturing order, check specifications and drawings for discrepancies.
