SENIOR ANALYST, ASSOCIATE EXPERIENCE

Job summary:

The Benefits Administration Specialist is responsible for managing a comprehensive range of employee benefits programs, including health insurance plans, annual health check-ups, childcare benefits, car lease programs, fitness reimbursements, and relocation processes. This role involves handling annual enrollments, managing claims data, coordinating with TPAs, brokers, and insurers, and driving increased subscriptions to voluntary plans. The specialist will also conduct awareness sessions, respond to associate queries, and maintain data on benefits utilization. They will support the design and implementation of wellness strategies and programs, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement based on feedback. Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in benefits administration, preferably in the IT/ITES sector, and an academic background in HR is preferred.

They work closely with various vendors partners, internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless administration and communication of benefits. What youll do:

Insurance benefits

• Handle the annual enrollment process for all group insurance policies GMC, Voluntary top-up plans, OPD, GTLI, GPA
• Driving increased voluntary top-up plan subscriptions among associates
• Manage the addition & deletion process for new joiners and exiting associates
• Review weekly/monthly/quarterly claims data and ensure SLAs are met by TPA
• Coordinate with TPA, broker & insurer to ensure smooth processing of the policies and follow-up for timely settlement
• Assist associates with insurance process enrolment, filing claims, policy queries, emergency hospitalization support
• Address associate queries and escalations as necessary
• Prepare cases for associates needing additional funding through corporate buffer or salary advance for critical illnesses
• Support the annual insurance renewal cycle and involved in the benefits design
• Create associate awareness through sessions, workshops, 1:1 helpdesks and other communication material
• Manage the CD reconciliation process, share payroll inputs for top-up premium deductions, etc.

Benefits administration

• Organize in-person health check-up programs in collaboration with healthcare providers and drive utilization of annual health check-ups
• Administer the childcare benefits program for associates in collaboration with vendor partners
• Oversee the car lease program, ensuring compliance with company policies and processes are followed by stakeholders involved
• Manage the fitness reimbursement program
• Support the domestic and international relocation processes
• Conduct sessions and create materials to educate associates about various benefits & wellness initiatives
• Respond to associate queries and escalations on benefits within the defined SLAs
• Maintain data around benefits utilization, associate testimonials, etc and share recommendations
• Build survey questionnaire / tools for associates feedback related to benefits program

Wellness programs

• Support the annual wellness strategy design
• Implement monthly wellness programs & events in line with the wellness calendar liaising with trainers, events team, vendors, stakeholders, etc
• Conduct the annual wellness carnival in partnership with vendors
• Engage the wellness champions and involve them in the events
• Capture associate feedback and implement improvements to the program
