Position Summary... • Leading the work of other small groups engineers, including offshore associates, for assigned Engineering projects by providing pertinent documents, direction, and examples; identifying short- and long- term solutions and timeline; reviewing and approving proposed solutions; implementing new architectural patterns; and performing design and code reviews of changes.
• Troubleshooting business and production issues by reviewing and analyzing information (for example, issue, impact, criticality, possible root cause); engaging support teams to assist in the resolution of issues; formulating an action plan; directing actions as designated in the plan; interpreting the results to determine further action; performs root cause analysis to prevent future occurrence of issues; and completing online documentation.
• Leading the discovery phase of medium to large projects to come up with high level design by partnering with the product management, design, project management, business and user experience teams; obtaining cross-function approvals; driving proof-of-concept; and implementing prototypes to validate
  ideas.
• Developing Innovation strategies, processes, and best practices by leading internal technical teams; partnering with cross-functional teams across the business; developing assessments of key opportunities; documenting project scopes; developing long-range plans and project timelines; communicating with and influencing decision-makers and executives within the organization; and resolving technology differences across teams through informed discussions.

• Drive the success of the implementation by applying technical skills, to design and build enhanced processes and technical solutions in support of strategic initiatives.
• Work closely with the Architects and cross functional teams and follow established practices for the delivery of solutions meeting QCD (Quality, Cost & Delivery). Within the established architectural guidelines.
• You will work with engineering teams to create high level and low-level designs, drive design discussion and technical decisions.

• 10+ years of contributing high-quality code to production systems that

• Experience in building n-tier highly scalable, fault tolerant, reactive .Microservices using Java/Scala, and RESTful architecture
• Experience in machine learning, Chat GPT or similar platforms, scikit-learn, TensorFlow/Pytorch
• Experience in productionizing machine learning models and worked in the complete lifecycle with data science and platform teams.
• Good understanding of Java, Spring Boot, and experience working with distributed systems and teams.
• Experience with refactoring / redesigning / rewriting existing applications is plus (We are in the process of redesigning and refactoring of our current system.
• Ability to build products with focus on testability, someone who loves test coverage (well versed with Mockito and JUnit)
• Good understanding of Kubernetes, Helm, microservice architecture and design, and best practices around multithreading, networking, offline storage, and performance tuning
• A disciplined approach to development, code review, testing, documentation,and code structure in a team environment.
• Experience designing optimization algorithms in Search and Personalization platform.
