SOFTWARE ENGINEER III(SAP-ABAP Developer)

About Team:
We are focused on ERP implementations in Manufacturing, Fuel, Pharmacy, Additive Manufacturing and Data science, business functions for multiple Walmart markets with SAP and EWM.

What youll do:

You will play the role of ABAP Developer working on implementing solutions and support applications in your area of responsibility.

• You will co-ordinate and take the role of the technical design, build and support applications in your area of responsibility i.e., GBS - Manufacturing.

• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to understand business requirements.

• Create and customize SAP reports, interfaces, conversions, and enhancements and forms, Fiori and deploy objects in SAP S/4 using agile methodology.

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP applications using ABAP programming language.

• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to understand business requirements.

• Provide technical support and resolve issues related to SAP applications.

• Optimize existing ABAP code and performance tuning for SAP applications.

• Develop technical documentation for SAP custom programs and interfaces.

• Participate in end-to-end SAP implementation and enhancement projects.

• Stay updated with SAP technologies and best practices.

What youll bring:

• Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Proven experience 3-5 years as an SAP ABAP Developer with least 2 project Implementation, Upgrade, Rollout, AMS etc.

• Strong knowledge of SAP data dictionary and debugging techniques.

• Ability to develop and optimize SAP reports and interfaces.

• Should have excellent technical skills in Reports, Forms, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements etc.

• Working knowledge on SAP ABAP on HANA and related new syntaxes.

• Should have working knowledge in developing CDS, AMDP and ODATA services.

• Knowledge/Experience on at least any of the niche skills Workflow, Fiori, HANA checks/HANA Migration etc.

• Should be well versed with Object Oriented (OO) concepts of SAP ABAP

• Good knowledge of ABAP Debugging, SAP Code inspector & other SAP standard tools with respect to development

• Understanding of SAP functional requirement, conversion into technical design and development using ABAP Language

• Good to have experience in a manufacturing or supply chain project

• Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Preferably exposure working on projects using Agile methodology.
