Production manager(Fabrication Shop/Welding Shop)-Walchandnagar(Baramati)Location

1. Production planning and Execution:

• Develop and implement production schedules and ensure alignment with project timelines and customer requirements.
• Monitor daily operations to meet production targets and quality standards.
• Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.
• Coordinating various departments to achieve day today plans.

2. Process Optimization:

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.

3. Team Management:

• Supervise and lead a team of supervisors, welders, fabricators, and other production staff ( max 70)
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork.

4. Quality Assurance:

• Ensure all fabricated components meet design specifications, industry standards, and quality requirements.
• Coordinate with the Quality Assurance (QA) team for inspections and audits.

5. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):

• Enforce workplace safety policies and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and implement corrective actions.

6. Reporting and Documentation:

• Prepare and present production reports.
• Maintain accurate records of production activities, inventory, and material usage.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 10-12 years in heavy fabrication, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques like welding, cutting, bending, and assembly.
• Familiarity with industry standards like ASME, ISO.
• Production planning tools, and CAD software.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Awareness of NDT procedures.
