ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Project Management and Implementation:
Develop and execute the project plan, ensuring timely delivery of milestones, particularly related to routine immunization in Bihar.
Oversee the coordination, implementation, and monitoring of project activities in alignment with program objectives.
Ensure resource allocation, budget adherence, and efficient project execution.
2. Stakeholder Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials, donors, partner organizations, and community leaders to foster collaboration.
Act as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, ensuring regular updates and alignment on program goals.
Represent the organization at meetings, workshops, and events to promote project initiatives.
3. Social Behavior Change Communication (SBCC) Expertise:
Design tailored SBCC strategies and IEC plans to increase awareness and acceptance of routine immunization within target communities.
Lead the development of impactful IEC materials, including banners, posters, leaflets, and digital content, ensuring cultural and contextual relevance.
Explore and integrate innovative communication technologies and approaches to enhance outreach and engagement.
4. Communication and Documentation:
Develop high-quality communication materials, including reports, newsletters, brochures, and social media content, to effectively promote program messages.
Facilitate visual documentation, such as videos and photos, to showcase program impact, success stories, and best practices.
Maintain a knowledge repository to organize IEC-related materials and track project outcomes.
5. Monitoring and Evaluation:
Design and implement M&E tools to assess the impact of SBCC and IEC activities.
Collaborate with the evaluation team to document case studies, program impact, and lessons learned.
Provide regular progress reports highlighting challenges, achievements, and recommendations for improvement.
6. Capacity Building and Technical Support:
Conduct training sessions for community influencers, internal staff, and partners to strengthen their understanding and application of SBCC strategies.
Offer technical assistance on communication techniques to enhance program implementation and outreach.
7. Strategic Support for Partnerships:
Support the preparation and review of partnership agreements and related documentation.
Contribute to proposal writing and presentations to secure funding and stakeholder support.
REQUIREMENTS
6-8 years of experience in developing and implementing IEC/BCC strategies, Program management for large public health programs.
Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively build and manage professional relationships with technical experts, other partners and community stakeholders
Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks concurrently, and meet deadlines with attention to detail and quality.
Computer proficiency with high level of familiarity with commonly used packages like MS Word, Excel, Power Point Sound knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, MS Office, and video editing is required
Knowledge of government policies and regulations related to healthcare and Immunization.
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
Excellent written skills in English and interpersonal abilities.
