Job Title: Cafe Chef
Location: Gurgaon, HR
Reports To: Business Head

Job Summary:

As a Chef, you will work closely with Head Chef and kitchen staff, playing a vital role in food preparation, kitchen organization, and maintaining high-quality standards.

The ideal candidate should be passionate about the culinary arts, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to the success of our café.

Key responsibilities :

• Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients
• Support chefs in the cooking and assembly of dishes, ensuring adherence to recipes
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
• Receive and store food deliveries, rotating stock to ensure freshness
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate the timely execution of food orders
• Assist in maintaining kitchen equipment and reporting any issues to the Head Chef
• Follow proper food safety and hygiene procedures at all times
• Uphold high standards of cleanliness and order in the kitchen environment

Requirements and Skills :

• Graduation preferred
• Previous experience in a kitchen or culinary environment
• Basic understanding of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Decent communication skills and a willingness to learn.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks
• Basic knife skills and familiarity with common kitchen equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Team collaboration and the ability to take direction from head chef
• Enthusiasm for learning and a passion for the culinary arts
