Job Description: Sales Manager Cloud Data Engineering and Analytics
Location: Singapore

Role Overview:
- As a Sales Manager at our fast-growing Cloud Analytics Services organization, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through lead generation, opportunity management, strategic partnerships, and deal closures.
- This role requires a proven track record in sales within Cloud IaaS PaaS and Data Analytics solutions along with strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in enterprise sales, closing multi-year deals, and managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure.
- You will also be responsible for building long-term relationships with key decision-makers and technology partners in the Cloud, Data Warehousing, and Analytics ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Revenue Growth:
- Achieve and exceed revenue targets by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive adoption of Cloud Analytics, Data Warehousing, and AI ML-based solutions
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline ensuring a consistent flow of opportunities and revenue
- Work closely with cross-functional teams Marketing, Pre-sales, Delivery, and Product teams to drive successful deal closures
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and ensure timely reporting of progress and challenges
Lead Generation and Client Engagement:
- Identify and target key enterprise customers in Financial Services, Insurance, Retail, Healthcare, and other industries
- Develop direct relationships with key stakeholders including C-Level executives, IT decision-makers, and Data Science leaders
- Engage in consultative selling, understanding customer pain points, and aligning our solutions to meet their needs
- Conduct customer presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept discussions to showcase value propositions
Deal Closing and Contract Negotiation:
- Own and manage the sales process from lead generation to contract closure
- Negotiate and close high-value, multi-year deals with a focus on profitability and long-term customer success
- Address objections and concerns from potential customers while positioning the value of our solutions
- Ensure smooth onboarding and transition of customers to the Delivery and Customer Success teams
Market and Competitive Intelligence:
- Stay updated with market trends, competitor analysis, and emerging technologies in Cloud, Data Analytics, and AI ML
- Work with Marketing and Pre-Sales teams to develop compelling sales materials, whitepapers, and case studies
- Participate in industry conferences, webinars, and networking events to enhance brand visibility
Required Skills and Experience:
Sales and Business Development Expertise:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in selling Cloud IaaS PaaS and Data Analytics services
- Proven track record in closing high-value deals in Cloud, Data Warehousing, or AI ML-based analytics solutions
- Strong B2B enterprise sales experience preferably in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Retail, or Healthcare
- Expertise in lead generation, consultative selling, and solution positioning
Technical and Industry Knowledge:
- Understanding of Cloud platforms AWS, Azure, GCP and their application in Data Analytics and AI ML
- Familiarity with Data Warehousing, Big Data, ETL, AI ML, and Business Intelligence solutions
- Experience in partnering with technology vendors AWS, Microsoft, Google to enhance solution offerings
- Ability to articulate technical solutions in business terms to non-technical stakeholders
Negotiation and Communication Skills:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with an ability to influence decision-makers
- Experience in handling complex sales cycles and multi-stakeholder negotiations
- Ability to develop winning proposals, RFP RFI responses, and strategic business cases
Certifications Preferred but Not Mandatory:
- Cloud Certification in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Fundamentals
- Sales-related certifications in Cloud, Data Analytics, or AI ML Solutions
Soft Skills and Personal Attributes:
- Goal-Oriented and Results-Driven Ability to meet or exceed sales quotas consistently
- Strategic Thinker Ability to identify market opportunities and align sales strategies accordingly
