Job Description

Job Summary:

The Training Officer is responsible for maintaining comprehensive records of all inspections and accreditations, planning and conducting training sessions for staff and students, developing training modules for various employee categories, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure the success of training initiatives. This role also involves scheduling external trainers for staff development sessions twice annually and managing training timetables across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Training Coordination:
    • Plan, organize, and implement training schedules for staff and students across all locations.
    • Develop and manage training timetables to ensure smooth execution of sessions.
  2. Training Content Development:
    • Design and develop tailored training modules for different categories of staff, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
    • Incorporate feedback to refine and improve training content over time.
  3. Stakeholder Liaison:
    • Collaborate with department heads, supervisors, and external trainers to ensure effective training delivery.
    • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support training objectives.
  4. External Trainer Sessions:
    • Organize and schedule two external trainer-led sessions annually for staff development.
    • Identify and engage reputed trainers to provide value-driven learning experiences.
  5. Records Management:
    • Maintain detailed records of all training programs, including attendance, outcomes, and feedback.
    • Keep accurate and updated documentation of inspections and accreditations for compliance and reporting.
  6. Training Delivery:
    • Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions for staff and students, using diverse teaching methods.
    • Ensure training programs are relevant, practical, and focused on skill enhancement.
  7. Monitoring and Reporting:
    • Track the effectiveness of training sessions through feedback, performance improvements, and evaluations.
    • Provide regular reports on training activities, accreditation status, and developmental milestones.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    Masters degree in Business Administration, or a related field. Certifications in Training & Development or a similar area (e.g., Train the Trainer, CPTD) are preferred.
  • Experience:
    Minimum 5-10 years of experience in training and development, preferably in a multi-location or multi-specialty organization.
  • Skills:
    Strong organizational and multitasking skills to handle training across various locations.
    • Proficiency in developing and delivering training content using modern tools and techniques.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • Attention to detail for record-keeping and compliance requirements.
    • Ability to work independently and in coordination with teams.
