Purchase Executive

Key Responsibilities:

• Procurement Management:
• Identify and source quality suppliers for materials such as fabric, zippers, handles, locks, wheels, and other luggage components.
• Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing, timely delivery, and quality standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and work closely with the production team to ensure material availability.
• Vendor Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and evaluate new ones to ensure high-quality products at competitive prices.
• Regularly assess supplier performance, manage any issues regarding quality, delivery, or cost, and take corrective actions when needed.
• Order Processing:
• Place orders with suppliers based on production schedules and stock levels.
• Ensure timely order fulfillment by following up with suppliers to confirm delivery dates and resolve any delays.
• Cost Control:
• Review and manage procurement budgets to optimize costs and contribute to overall cost reduction strategies.
• Assist in implementing cost-effective purchasing strategies.
• Documentation & Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of orders, supplier communications, and material receipts.
• Generate procurement reports and monitor budget adherence, inventory turnover, and other key performance indicators.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with the production, design, and quality control teams to ensure the timely supply of materials that meet the quality specifications.
• Assist in forecasting material requirements and ensuring that procurement aligns with production schedules.
• Compliance & Quality Assurance:
• Ensure that all materials and suppliers comply with company standards, industry regulations, and quality requirements.
• Conduct periodic audits and inspections of inventory to ensure quality and compliance.
