Development and Designing Sampling-product

Key Responsibilities:

Sampling & Prototype Development:

Develop and manage the sampling process for new luggage products, ensuring they meet all design, quality, and performance standards.

Work with design teams to create and refine prototypes, ensuring that the final sample aligns with the aesthetic and functional requirements.

Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to source appropriate materials and components for sample creation.

Ensure the proper testing of samples for durability, functionality, and performance (e.g., zippers, handles, wheels, stitching).

Collaboration:

Collaborate with designers, product managers, and sourcing teams to ensure design intent is communicated effectively and the end product meets market demands.

Support cross-functional teams during the development process, addressing any design or technical issues that arise.

Work closely with the production team to ensure the feasibility of designs and to manage timelines and costs.

Product Testing & Evaluation:

Oversee the evaluation of prototypes in real-world conditions (e.g., travel tests), providing feedback and recommending improvements.

Ensure samples are tested for compliance with industry standards (e.g., ASTM, ISO).

Ensure all products meet customer expectations and design specifications before moving into mass production.

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain clear documentation of the sampling process, including material specifications, design modifications, and test results.

Track and report on the status of each sample, identifying potential delays or issues early in the process.

Provide regular updates to senior management on the progress of product development.

Trend Research:

Stay up-to-date with market trends, emerging materials, and new technologies in the luggage industry to inform product design and development.

Bring fresh ideas to the design team that align with evolving consumer needs and preferences.

Project Management:

Manage timelines and resources for the sampling process, ensuring timely delivery of prototypes and samples.

Oversee multiple sampling projects simultaneously, prioritizing based on project deadlines and business needs.
