Manager-Costing & Budgeting

• Analyse and report on production cost variances, including direct materials, labour, and overheads.
• Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes for cost accounts.
• Prepare and present detailed monthly cost reports, including cost variance analysis, margin reports, and product costing.
• Provide cost data for budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Oversee inventory valuation, ensuring proper recording and reconciliation of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
• Ensure that the inventory costing methods (e.g., FIFO, LIFO, weighted average) are appropriately applied.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets for the company, ensuring alignment with overall strategic goals and financial targets
• Prepare regular monthly and quarterly forecasts to ensure the companys financial performance is on track with budgetary targets.
• Monitor actual performance against budget and prepare variance reports highlighting discrepancies.
• Collect, process, and analyze manufacturing data from various departments.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on production, inventory, and other key business metrics
• Create and manage dashboards for real-time monitoring of production and operational data.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel, SQL, and data analysis tools.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing software is a plus.

Knowledge of reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
