Analytics and Tagging Engineer

This role is critical for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our digital analytics data and for supporting our digital marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will possess a robust technical background in digital analytics platforms, especially Adobe Analytics, and have experience in web tagging, data layer management, and third-party pixel implementation.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and Manage Web Analytics Tagging: Develop robust tagging strategies to ensure accurate data collection across digital platforms.
• Analyze and Resolve Reporting Issues: Proactively identify and analyze discrepancies or issues in analytics reporting. Develop and implement solutions to correct these issues.
• Optimize Data Layer: Design and optimize the websites data layer to ensure comprehensive data capture for analysis.
• Third-Party Pixel Implementation: Manage and implement third-party marketing pixels as part of broader digital marketing and retargeting strategies.
• Collaborate with Development Teams: Work closely with web developers and IT teams to integrate analytics and marketing tagging into the website's codebase, ensuring technical implementations align with best practices.
• Maintain Tag Management Systems: Utilize tag management systems (e.g., Adobe Launch) to deploy and manage tags efficiently.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of tagging architectures, changes, and third-party integrations.
• Project Management: Participate in project planning and management activities, ensuring analytics requirements are met within timelines and align with business goals.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in Adobe Analytics, tag management systems like Adobe Launch, and third-party pixel integration.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in HTML, JavaScript, and other web technologies. Experienced in data collection technologies and digital marketing tools.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve data-related issues. Capable of making data-driven decisions and implementing necessary changes.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
