We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Android Kotlin Developer with a strong passion for building robust and user-friendly mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in designing, developing, and deploying high-quality Android applications, with a strong preference for experience within the payments domain.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and maintainable Android applications using Kotlin.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Managers, Designers, Backend Engineers, QA) to define, scope, and deliver features.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Conduct thorough unit testing and integration testing to ensure code quality and stability.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues effectively and efficiently.
• Stay updated with the latest Android development trends, technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• 6-8 years of professional experience in Android application development using Kotlin.
• Strong understanding of Android SDK, Java (optional), and Kotlin Coroutines.
• Experience with design patterns, architectural principles (e.g., MVVM, MVI), and testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Espresso).
• Experience with integrating with RESTful APIs and handling JSON data.
• Experience with payment gateway integrations (e.g., Stripe, Braintree, PayPal) is highly preferred.
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
