Job Description

Are you ready to play a crucial role in delivering superior customer satisfaction and minimizing claims/warranty exposure? As the Claims/Warranty Manager, you will be an integral part of the team, reporting to the Workshop Manager and closely collaborating with Operations, Supply Chain, and Engineering.

Job Overview:The Claims Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC), warranty and claim settlements of the customers vehicles coming for repair and services. The Warranty Manager is responsible for providing customer service, managing and tracking warranties, monitoring and evaluating warranty claims, and working with suppliers and vendors to resolve customer warranty issues. This role ensures that all maintenance, warranty, claims, and settlement activities are carried out efficiently, effectively, and in compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Implement AMC and Warranty Programs:

    • Design and implement comprehensive AMC and warranty policies and procedures.
    • Ensure all programs align with company standards and regulatory requirement. Manage AMC and Warranty Claims:
    • Oversee the processing of AMC and warranty claims, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
    • Investigate and resolve complex claims and disputes.
    • Ensure proper documentation and tracking of all claims. Claims and Settlements:
    • Handle the end-to-end process of claims and settlements, including assessment, negotiation, and finalization.
    • Coordinate with finance and legal departments to ensure accurate and fair settlements.
    • Maintain records of all claims and settlements for audit and review purposes. Customer Service and Satisfaction:
    • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by ensuring prompt and effective service.
    • Address customer inquiries and complaints related to AMC, warranty, claims, and settlement. Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Analyze AMC, warranty, claims, and settlement data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
    • Prepare regular reports on AMC, warranty, claims, and settlement performance for management review. Stakeholder Management:
    • Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth operations.
    • Manage relationships with external service providers and regulatory bodies Team Leadership:
    • Lead and mentor a team of AMC, warranty, and claims professionals.
    • Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team performance. Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay updated on industry developments and best practices.
    • Recommend and implement improvements to AMC, warranty, claims, and settlement processes.

Required Skills and Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in AMC, warranty, and claims management, preferably in the transport or automotive industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of spare-parts.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Proficiency in AMC, warranty, and claims management software and tools.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
