Job Summary:

Head of Investment Management Technology and Business Operations will be responsible for setting up and managing the investment management team. This is a leadership role responsible for leading the business operations and technology strategy and execution for the investment management division at Voya India. This role involves overseeing the business processes, development, implementation, and maintenance of technology solutions that support investment business, business operations, portfolio management, and client services. This role involves managing the processes and systems that support investment activities, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and risk management.

This role involves extensive stakeholder management, expanding multiple areas of business operations and drive strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operational Support and Leadership: Lead and manage the business and business operations team, ensuring smooth and efficient investment operations. Support research of investment products, marketing operations, Performance measurement, risk management, and trade support. Support settlement, reconciliation, financial reporting, fund operations, and more maintaining accuracy.

- Data Management: Support Data Integrity applications and processes, Develop and support security-master, portfolio-master, data repositories, and Data Governance.

- Technology Strategy: Develop and implement a technology strategy that aligns with the overall business goals of the investment management division.

- Process Improvement: Develop and implement strategies to improve operational processes and increase efficiency.

- System Development: Direct the design, development, and maintenance of investment management systems and applications.

- System Management: Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of investment management systems and technology.

- Reporting: Develop and support reports on operational and technology performance and investment activities, risk, compliance, and other key metrics to internal and external stakeholders.

- Leadership: Lead and manage a team of professionals from business operations, data, and technology

- Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects

- Compliance: Ensure all business operations and technology solutions comply with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies

- Innovation: Identify and implement innovative technologies and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

- Collaboration: Work closely with investment professionals, portfolio managers, traders, compliance officers, and other stakeholders to support investment operations and other stakeholders to understand their technology needs and deliver appropriate solutions.

- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate operational and technology-related risks associated with investment activities.

- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with custodians, brokers, and other external service providers.

- Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for the business operations and technology team to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering/finance/business/information technology, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant certifications is preferred.

- Experience: At least 15 years of experience in business operations and technology management, with a focus on investment management.
