Job Description

About the Role:

My client has multiple independent units under its aegis and the group has decided to work towards building an effective, cohesive and growth oriented centralized HR organization and for the same has created a new HR role at the corporate HQ. The Incumbent will lead all HR initiatives for the group and through the team ensure uniform implementation of all HR policies and SOPs.


The key responsibilities will include:


HR Policies and Procedures:

- Develop, update, and implement HR policies.

- Ensure that policies are effectively communicated and adhered to across the organization.

- Streamline HR operations to improve ef- ciency and employee satisfaction, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee relations.

Performance Management:

- Lead the development and continuous improvement of performance management systems, including KPIs, employee appraisals, and feedback mechanisms.

- Work with department heads to implement action plans for underperforming employees and reward top performers.

Culture Building:


- Cultivate a positive company culture that aligns with organizational values and business objectives.

- Implement initiatives to strengthen employee engagement, job satisfaction, and organizational loyalty.

Learning and Development:

- Design and execute comprehensive learning & development programs to enhance employee skills, leadership capabilities, and career growth.

- Identify training needs through performance assessments and strategic objectives.

- Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development across all levels of the organization.

Talent Planning & Acquisition:

- Oversee talent acquisition strategies to attract, recruit, and retain top talent in alignment with company growth plans.

- Develop a strategic workforce planning approach to anticipate talent needs and build a robust talent pipeline.

- Collaborate with department heads to understand hiring requirements and - ll key roles with candidates who align with the company culture.

Candidate's Background:

My client works across multiple BUs and JVs. The HR Head will need to be responsible for managing a very dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders and complex teams. To be successful in the role, the incumbent must have:

- Master's degree in HR from a premier institute

- At least 5 years of experience in managing HR

- Deep experience of manufacturing HR for retail, dealerships or similar industries

- Prior experience in developing & implementing HR policies and procedures

- Prior experience in working with promoter-run companies
