Job Title: Programme Management Services

Work Location: Remote

Scope of Work / Duties of Consultant:

Within the scope of Client's Project Management Framework (Agile and PRINCE2), the Program Management offering will include the following

  • Plan, execute and manage a portfolio of products/programmes/projects, which are either

internal or external to UNICC, whilst leveraging PRINCE2 and/or Agile methodologies as

applicable.

  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
  • Create, maintain and execute the Project Plan, within a collaborative environment.
  • Manage scope and decision process around any changes to expected programme outcomes,

delivery commitments, and/or schedule

  • Adhere to the programme management framework for governance, decision making,

dependency and risk management.

  • Under guidance and in collaboration with the Programme Head DDP, advise multidisciplinary and

cross-functional teams in programme/project development, implementation, monitoring and

assessment.

  • Manage project resources and track project costs.
  • Track and monitor project progress against plan, requirements, quality measures, standard

processes and report performance using appropriate tools and techniques.

  • Manage project communications, including schedule, to liaise with project board and respective

stakeholders during the entire project lifecycle.

  • Create and maintain project management documents throughout the lifecycle of the project

from Start Up to Closure.

  • Execute a proper Project Closure, including transition to operation, financial and lessons learnt.
  • Evaluate the outcomes of the project as established during the planning phase.
  • Manage a complex project portfolio.
  • Ensure alignment across delivery teams who may represent resources from multiple internal

(UNICC, client teams) and external sources (vendors, consultancies, product teams).

  • Identify priorities, problems and issues to be addressed and propose corrective actions.
  • Work in close collaboration with Organizational Change Management as/where applicable.
  • Provide other ad hoc support either within the team or in other teams as required this includes

the participation in special projects or support to service delivery for short period of time on a

part-time or full-time basis upon request from the senior management.

Required Technical Skills:

The resource MUST have the following skills and experience:

  • Leadership experience delivering multi-million-dollar enterprise-wide programs through to completion, including all aspects from program definition, resource alignment, governance structure setting through to implementation, go-live activities, adoption, and operationalization
  • 10 years of Project Management experience of medium to large projects, project budget (USD 3-5 million).
  • Extensive experience in managing multi-cultural teams and projects, using main project management frameworks and best practices, and in working within a project management office.
  • Experience in architecting and managing enterprise project portals and associated technologies,

business management and development, internal and external client relationship management, proposal and contract management, software and hardware vendor relationship management,

WHO procurement process management.

  • Experience with planning, managing, and executing activities among multiple internal and

external teams, analysis and resolution of complex interdependencies among multiple disparate

digital and analog functions, communication and building consensus among colleagues across

functional areas, from programme management peers to executive leadership levels to finance,

legal, communications and sales/marketing.

  • Sound familiarity with IT projects and service management standards, frameworks,

methodologies and best practices such as ITIL, PMI, PRINCE 2 and strong competency in Agile

methodology (SCRUM).

  • Stakeholder management.
  • Proven ability to gather client requirements, design appropriate solutions, prepare proposals, and

work under pressure.

  • Excellent proactive risk identification and remediation capability.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, Prince2/PMI frameworks.
  • Expert level of English is required (verbal and written). Experience in managing remote teams.

The resource SHOULD have the following skills and experience:

  • Consulting experience with global consultancy.
  • Experience in business relation support.
  • Experience on Data projects.
  • Sound Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.
  • Hindi and / other Indian languages.
  • Willingness to travel within India.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively and harmoniously within a team from varied cultures and professional

backgrounds with the ability to create good relationships across different departments and

organizations

Desirable certifications:

  • Programme Management Certification such as PMP, MSP or training
  • Service Management qualification, such as ITIL or ISO 20000 or training
  • Project Management qualifications, such as PRINCE2, PSM 1, PSM 2, or ACP acceptable
  • Professional Scrum Product Owner certification or training

Education

  • First university degree in Computer Science, International Relations, Information Systems,

Mathematics, Statistics or related field
