Vice President/Associate Vice President - IT Operations & Technology Management (5-10 yrs)

Job Summary:

The IT Operations and Technology Manager will oversee and manage the technology infrastructure of the organization, ensuring efficient operation and alignment with the company's strategic goals. The role involves driving technology adoption, managing risks, and ensuring compliance, with a focus on supporting the unique needs of an asset reconstruction company. The candidate will lead efforts to optimize IT resources, implement innovative solutions, and maintain a secure and resilient technology environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Technology Management:

- Develop and execute the organization's IT strategy in alignment with business goals.

- Oversee in-house and externally developed applications critical to asset reconstruction operations.

- Assess emerging technologies and recommend solutions to enhance operational efficiency.

Budget Management:

- Prepare, monitor, and manage the IT budget to ensure optimal resource allocation.

- Evaluate and approve technology investments to maximize cost-effectiveness.

Leadership & Team Management:

- Lead and mentor the IT team to maintain high performance and foster professional growth.

- Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning within the IT department.

Risk Management & Compliance:

- Identify and mitigate technology-related risks in asset reconstruction operations.

- Ensure compliance with IT regulations, perform internal audits, and support external audits.

Vendor Relations:

- Manage relationships with IT vendors, negotiating contracts and ensuring quality service delivery.

- Evaluate vendor performance to ensure alignment with organizational needs.

Performance Monitoring & IT Support:

- Implement systems for monitoring IT infrastructure performance and service delivery.

- Oversee the IT ticket management system, ensuring prompt resolution of technical issues.

Security & Disaster Recovery:

- Manage firewall configurations, endpoint security, and overall IT infrastructure protection.

- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

Cloud and Infrastructure Management:

- Oversee cloud-based technologies such as Azure AVD, File Share, and Entra ID.

- Administer EPBX systems, audio-video conferencing tools, and secure collaboration platforms.

Qualifications and Skills:

Required:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

- Proven experience in IT operations, strategic planning, and technology management.

- Strong knowledge of asset reconstruction workflows and associated technology requirements.

- Expertise in cloud platforms, endpoint security, and firewall management.

- Demonstrated experience with compliance, IT audits, and risk management.

- Proficient in budget management, vendor relations, and performance monitoring.

- Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Preferred:

- Certifications in IT management (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISSP) or cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure).

- Experience in disaster recovery planning and business continuity management.

- Familiarity with EPBX systems and audio-video conferencing solutions.
