The Logo & Brand domain is dedicated to grow Vista into the #1 provider for small business owners looking to create and activate their logo and brand identity. Our ambitious goal is to build the world s most used and loved logo and visual identity service. We work on accelerating the growth of logos on Vista including the scaling and monetizing our free Logo Maker experience to attract more first-time customers & users, all while maintaining the quality of and satisfaction with the logos we help clients create.
About The Role:
In this role, we are looking for a talented, committed and driven India based full stack software engineer to join our product team. We are on the hunt for applicants who are passionate about what they do, possess hands-on experience in development and can thrive in an agile environment.
Who s the ideal candidate Demonstrates mastery of their discipline Implements well-scoped product or system features independently. Writes well-tested, correct and clean code with guidance.
Communicates effectively and respectfully with other team members on tasks and asks for guidance when necessary.
Proactively shares information with their team and manager. Raises issues early when they see obstacles to achieving team or individual goals.
Shows initiative and takes ownership Identifies opportunities for their personal development as well as team process, code and product improvements.
Owns the tasks theyve been assigned and drives them to completion.
Has awareness of the broader product strategy and understands how their work fits in.
Shows interest in learning more about other parts of the business.
Continuously improves themselves and their team Receptive to constructive feedback and learns from mistakes. Proactively works on growing their skills, partnering with their manager and other senior staff.
Figures things out independently but brave enough to ask questions.
What we expect from you 2+ years of experience building enterprise software products in a team setting.
Experience with Typescript, Nest.JS. Proficiency with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Good to have knowledge of React or other recent JavaScript web frameworks.
Experience with AWS, Docker, and infrastructure as code. Good understanding of data structures and algorithms. A passion for continuous learning and improvement to acquire the skills necessary for effectively executing your job.
Good understanding of agile principles. A positive mindset: equal parts curious, collaborative, and can-do.
Excellent interpersonal skills, strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work with the internal & external stakeholders to understand the business drivers, and articulate constraints and options.
