Senior Software Engineer - Salesforce Service Cloud (5-7 yrs)

What will you do?

We are seeking a driven and aspiring Senior Software Engineer to join our CARE Technology Tribe. You will enhance our existing Salesforce platform, develop intuitive solutions for customers and specialists, and collaboratively design and implement impactful, high-visibility applications.

As a Salesforce Senior Software Engineer within the CARE Technology Tribe, you will be part of an energetic team of engineers developing innovative features and tools in Salesforce Service Cloud and other cutting-edge technologies. Your work will support thousands of CARE specialists in assisting millions of customers worldwide

Role and Responsibilities :

- Build applications using Salesforce Service Cloud, Apex, Flow, Visualforce, LWC, SFDX CI/CD, and AWS services.

- Actively contribute to code/design reviews and pair programming sessions.

- Collaborate with Product Managers to understand business use cases and design, develop, test, and document solutions.

- Assess technical considerations such as security, scalability, and platform limits.

- Evaluate current and emerging technologies to solve business problems and enhance user experiences.

- Build and document flexible, scalable CRM implementations using Salesforce Service Cloud.

- Participate in component design discussions and follow Salesforce best practices for design and code.

- Mentor junior Salesforce software engineers.

- Ensure smooth Salesforce release cycles and proactively deploy updates and enhancements.

- Troubleshoot issues and participate in operational responsibilities for the team's services.

- Contribute to a fun, collaborative, and results-driven team culture.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.

- At least 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer, with expertise in object-oriented design and programming.

- 4+ years of experience with Salesforce, including Service Cloud, Apex, Flow, SFDX CI/CD, Visualforce, Lightning, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).

- Experience with the Salesforce Lightning Design System and the Salesforce development lifecycle.

- Strong experience in mocking and unit testing.

- Proficiency with SOQL and SQL databases.

- Familiarity with large data sets and bulkification techniques.

- Knowledge of Salesforce APIs for system integration.

- Strong problem-solving skills with excellent analytical abilities.

-Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, including fluency in English.

- Experience working in fast-paced, agile environments.

Good to Have :

- Salesforce certifications.

- Experience with cloud-native applications and services in AWS.

- Web development experience with HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.

-Proficiency in other languages or frameworks like JavaScript, TypeScript, MEAN, or MERN stack.
