Responsibilities:

- We are looking for a Finance controller who reports to the business controller and will primarily focus on controlling the OPEX i.e. revenue contracts as a controller.

- A Finance Controller overseeing OPEX (Operating Expenditure) contracts is responsible for managing and optimizing ongoing operational expenses.

- They ensure that expenditures align with budgetary goals, review, and negotiate contracts to achieve cost efficiencies, and monitor compliance with financial policies.

- By analysing OPEX trends, they provide insights that help guide business decisions, identify cost-saving opportunities, and maintain the financial health of the organization.

- Their role also involves close coordination with procurement, operations, and other departments to ensure seamless financial management of recurring expenses.

- Cost Control to be key priority

- Inventory Control

- Customs and Trade related queries

- Working with the contracting team/ procurement teams to ensure the effective management of inventory/finance/budgets

Must have:

- Qualified accountant, strong excel skills, excellent accounting knowledge

- Contract management

- Experience of supporting the business in managing large budgets.

- Experience in managing senior stakeholders

- Strong controlling background.

- Ability to make decisions and take ownership

Minimum abilities:

- Preparation of detailed cost sheet & estimation of margins of manufacturingunits

- Risk management/ insurance

- Bank Guarantees, LC etc. & coordinating with project teams to get required details.

- Coordinating between project team & bank to ensure timely submission & correctness of documents to avoid delay in LC closure

- Controlling of budgets on the basis of details received from various departments and inputs from management.

- Monitoring of actual revenue and cost against budget on monthly basis. Reporting of reasons for variances to higher management post discussion with manufacturing teams. Action plan to adhere to budget is taken from manufacturing and plant teams.

- Design & implement back to back payment terms with vendors i.e. Payment terms with vendors are negotiated in line with payment terms agreed with customers.

- Ensuring receipt, Extension & closure of bank guarantees (advance bank guarantee and performance bank guarantee) received from vendors

- Monitoring of billing (unbilled revenue) as per contract terms (correctness and timeliness).

- Ensuring compliance to GST rule for billings done to customers & invoices received from vendors.
