Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager - Galvanizing to lead and manage our galvanizing plant operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in galvanizing processes, including comprehensive knowledge of the 7-tank process, production management, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage day-to-day operations of the galvanizing plant to ensure maximum productivity and quality.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize production efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards (ISO, ASTM, etc.) and customer specifications in all galvanizing processes.
• Monitor and maintain all galvanizing equipment, ensuring preventive maintenance and timely repairs.
• Supervise and ensure proper execution of the 7-tank process, including degreasing, pickling, rinsing, fluxing, and drying stages.
• Lead a team of supervisors and technicians, ensuring effective communication and performance management.
• Maintain strict compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with procurement, quality control, and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Analyze production data, identify trends, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop budgets and monitor operational costs to ensure profitability.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Metallurgical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 15-20 years of experience in galvanizing operations.
• Strong knowledge of galvanizing processes, including hot-dip galvanizing, 7-tank process, and electro-galvanizing.
• Proven leadership skills with experience in managing large teams.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using production management software and tools.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
