Job Description
Job Title :Guidewire Policy Center QA Engineer II

Key Responsibilities :
Contribute to test planning, design, and execution. Participate in requirements gathering and analysis. Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Execute functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance tests. Track and document defects using a defect tracking system (Jira). Analyze test results and generate comprehensive test reports. Perform manual functional testing on the Guidewire Insurance Suite, with a focus on PolicyCenter. Gain a deep understanding of PolicyCenter functionalities and configurations. Test policy creation, underwriting, rating, and other core PolicyCenter processes. Develop and execute manual end-to-end test cases, utilizing existing automation frameworks. Collaborate with the automation team to enhance and maintain existing test automation scripts. Collaborate effectively with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders. Communicate testing progress, issues, and risks to the team. Participate in daily stand-up meetings and other agile ceremonies. Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle. Proactively identify and mitigate potential quality risks. Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies. Qualifications
4+ years of experience in software testing with experience in testing web and API platforms. Strong understanding of Guidewire PolicyCenter and its core functionalities. Experience with SQL and databases. Familiarity with web services (REST/SOAP). Basic understanding of scripting languages (Python, JavaScript). Strong understanding of QA processes, methodologies, and best practices. Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), STLC, and agile practices. Experience with various testing types (functional, regression, integration, system, user acceptance). Excellent time management, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Detail-oriented and results-driven. Desired Skills
Experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cucumber). Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). Insurance domain knowledge. Relevant certifications (ISTQB)
