Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Cluster Head for our Mumbai and Pune operations with a strong background in Financial Services, specifically in lending to the Construction Industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales, SME sales (- 100 crore+ turnovers), credit sales, and team leadership. The candidate will play a pivotal role in scaling up the business, ensuring robust collections, and fostering strong relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development and Sales:
- Lead B2B sales efforts targeting SMEs with - 100 crore and above turnovers, focusing on lending solutions for the Construction Industry.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue and growth targets.
- Cultivate and leverage promoter-level connections to expand the business network and generate high-value opportunities. 2. Team Leadership:
- Manage and mentor a team of 7 to 10 RM and ARM, driving their performance and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Foster a culture of accountability, integrity, and excellence within the team.
3. Credit Sales and Risk Management:
- Collaborate with the credit team to assess client eligibility and structure optimal financing solutions.
- Ensure timely and accurate credit evaluations to support lending decisions.
4. Collections Management:
- Oversee collections efforts to maintain portfolio quality and minimize delinquencies.
- Support the team in resolving complex collection cases through strategic interventions.
5. Scaling Business Operations:
- Identify opportunities for scaling the business by expanding the customer base and diversifying product offerings.
- Utilize digital tools and strategies to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and drive growth.
6. Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with promoters, clients, and industry stakeholders.
- Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Graduate/Post-Graduate in Finance, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Experience: 10+ years in financial services, with a focus on lending to the Construction Industry.
- Proven track record in B2B sales, SME sales, and credit sales.
- Experience in leading and managing teams of 7-10 members.
- Strong understanding of credit evaluation, risk management, and collections.
- Digital proficiency to drive operational efficiency and scale the business.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships at the promoter level.
