About the Role:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5-7 years of experience in an NBFC.
- Strong knowledge of Ind AS, RBI regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Experience in leading audit processes, including statutory and regulatory audits.
- Proficiency in advanced MS Excel and financial management software/tools.
- Ability to thrive in a start-up environment, demonstrating adaptability and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Key/Technical Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of IND AS, including its application in financial reporting, recognition, measurement, and disclosures.
- Ability to analyze and implement changes in IND AS requirements.
- Familiarity with RBI regulations and guidelines for NBFCs, including preparation and filing of regulatory returns & stay updated with changes.
- Experience managing statutory, internal, and tax audits, including the preparation of audit schedules and addressing auditor queries.
- Capability to set up or improve financial systems, ERP platforms (e., SAP, Oracle, Tally), and processes for scalability in a start-up environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare, analyse, and present accurate and timely financial statements as per IND AS & management requirements.
- Ensure compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) & relevant regulatory guidelines.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Prepare and file all regulatory returns in accordance with RBI norms and other applicable regulations.
- Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and ensure compliance across all reporting areas.
Audit Management:
- Lead the statutory, internal, and tax audit processes, ensuring timely completion and resolution of audit queries.
- Coordinate with auditors, providing necessary documentation and information.
Cross-functional Support:
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations and cost control.
- Provide financial insights and data-driven recommendations to support business decisions.
Start-up Support:
- Take ownership of ad-hoc financial tasks, reporting, or projects as required by the start-up's evolving needs.
- Assist in setting up financial systems and processes to ensure scalability and efficiency
