Project Manager - IT Infrastructure Services (3-7 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in IT Infrastructure Services Delivery to lead and oversee the planning, execution, and completion of infrastructure projects. The Project Manager will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget, while meeting high standards of quality. The ideal candidate will hold a PMP certification and possess deep expertise in managing IT infrastructure projects, including data centers, networking, servers, storage, and cloud services.

Key Responsibilities :

- IT Infrastructure Project Management : Lead the end-to-end management of IT infrastructure services projects, including server migrations, network setups, data center operations, and cloud implementations.

- Service Delivery : Ensure smooth delivery of IT infrastructure services, maintaining alignment with client expectations and internal performance standards.

- Planning and Execution : Define the project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring they align with the strategic goals of the organization and the client.

- Risk Management : Proactively identify risks specific to IT infrastructure (e.g., downtime, data security) and develop mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project delivery.

- Stakeholder Communication : Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal teams, providing regular updates on project status, issues, and delivery timelines.

- Timeline and Budget Management : Develop detailed project plans with specific milestones and track project performance to ensure delivery on time and within budget.

- Resource Management : Allocate and optimize resources, including IT teams, vendors, and equipment, to ensure efficient project execution.

- Technical Documentation : Ensure all IT infrastructure changes, configurations, and processes are well-documented and maintained for future reference.

- Vendor and Contract Management : Oversee third-party vendors and service providers involved in infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with SLAs and contract terms.

- Change Management : Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs, ensuring approval and communication of adjustments with all stakeholders.

- Quality Control : Monitor project progress to ensure that infrastructure solutions meet quality standards and comply with security policies.

Requirements :

- Education : Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Project Management, or a related field.

- Experience : 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure project management, with hands-on experience in managing data centers, networks, storage solutions, cloud services, and IT infrastructure upgrades.

Certifications :

- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is mandatory.

- ITIL certification is a plus.

Skills :

- Proven ability to manage IT infrastructure projects across different platforms (on-premise, hybrid, cloud).

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with experience presenting to senior leadership.

- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana).

- Advanced knowledge of IT infrastructure components such as networking, storage, servers, and cloud architecture (e.g., AWS, Azure).

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience managing large-scale IT infrastructure projects for enterprise clients.

- Familiarity with cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).

- Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic environments with a focus on service delivery and client satisfaction.
