Hotel Management Trainer
Job Summary:
Vinayaka Fundamental Research and Education Society is looking for a Trainer Hotel Management and Food Processing who is able to teach multiple roles like sorting, grading, processing and canning of various types of fruits and vegetables to produce pickle, jam, jelly, squash, ketchup and juices. He/She can also produce baked products like breads, puffs, cookies, cakes/ pastries, desserts,etc.
Key Responsibilities:
1. To follow training schedule, syllabus and time table regularly.
2. To take weekly internal assessment of Trainees on every Saturday.
3. To assure proper theory and practical training and arrange any training tool if required.
4. To maintain minimum 80% attendance of batch everyday.
5. To properly fill Trainers diary daily.
6. To be assure that all the Trainees have timely received uniform and Training material.
7. To maintain leave records and minimize absenteeism.
8. To provide daily Progress Report.
9. To attend assembly on time.
10. To assure Trainees are timely back in class after lunch break.
11. To mobilize and shift 10 candidates on monthly basis.
12. To minimize drop-out ratio.
13. To motivate candidates for placement and assure minimum 60% candidates should go for placement.
14. To engage candidates in extracurricular activities on every Saturday.
Qualifications & Education:
l Diploma in Food Technology or Food Engineering with 1-2 years of hands on experience in a fruit and vegetable industry/bakery industry
l B.Sc/B.Tech/BE in Food Technology or Food Engineering with 1-2 years of hand on experience in a fruit and vegetable industry/bakery industry
l M.Sc/M.Tech/ME in Food Engineering or Dairy Technology with 1-2 years of hand on experience in a fruit and vegetable industry/bakery industry
Experience:
Preferred to have experience in the skill development sector as trainer,
Skills:
After completing the training the participants should be able to: •
l Sort and grade fruits, vegetables, nuts based on colour, size, appearance, feel and smell •
l Process fruits and vegetables to produce jam, jelly and ketchup manually or mechanically; •
l Operate various mechanical or automated machineries for canning; •
l Prepare and process various fruits and vegetables manually or in machine-operated units for pickle-making; •
l Process fruits and vegetables to produce squash and juice manually or mechanically;
l Plan, organize, prioritize, inspect, and calculate production requirements and maintain process parameters to achieve the desired quality and quantity;
l Prepare baked products in artisan bakeries and patisseries, conforming to all quality standards as per standard operating procedures.
l Operate oven and machineries/equipment •
l Maintain process parameters to attain the desired quality and quantity;
l Follow and maintain food safety and hygiene in the work environment
l Knowledge of working in a team
