Production Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Rolling Mill Operations: Oversee daily rolling mill operations to ensure smooth production and adherence to quality standards.
• Process Optimization: Implement and monitor process parameters for better productivity and efficiency.
• Total Productive Maintenance (TPM): Ensure planned maintenance schedules, minimize downtime, and improve machine reliability.
• Kaizen & Continuous Improvement: Drive Kaizen initiatives to enhance process efficiency, reduce wastage, and improve overall productivity.
• Quality Control: Monitor and maintain product quality as per standards, identify defects, and work on corrective actions.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to safety guidelines, conduct risk assessments, and promote a safety-first culture.
• Manpower Management: Coordinate with the production team, assign work schedules, and provide necessary technical support.
• New Initiatives & Innovation: Welcome and implement new technologies, automation, and process improvements for better efficiency.
• Inventory & Resource Management: Ensure the availability of raw materials, track inventory levels, and coordinate with purchase teams.
• Training & Development: Conduct training programs for operators and technicians on process improvements and best practices.

Preferred candidate profile

Must have experience working in TMT bar manufacturing industries.
