    Section In Charge/ Plant Manager Summary of Job

    To execute the production in the shifts through the various stages of manufacturing as per the production plan in a manner to ensure compliance to quality, safety & regulatory requirements & maintaining the cost within the budget.

    Key Responsibilities

    (Performance Indicators)

    • Responsible for smooth and safe operation of CTCMP Plant
      • Ensure that operation is being done by PCs as per defined SOP in their section strictly.
        • Ensure that BPR, log sheets, analytical sheets are being filled by PCs properly.
          • Inform any deviation/ abnormality of his section to his section in charges and do the trouble shooting.
            • Ensure Stand-by equipment healthiness from process side.
              • Ensure that PCs are using PPEs at workplace.
                • Ensure that PCs are following their regular shift as per shift schedule.
                  • Responsible for maintaining proper housekeeping of his section.
                    • Fill FIR for any incident of his section and do RCA of any incident in time.
                      • Responsible for zero reportable incident in their section.
                        • Preparing work permits for doing any maintenance job in his section.
                          • Co-ordinate with engineering / safety department for any maintenance work.
                            • Help shift section in charges for preparing shut down list of his section.
                              • Any non-routine work assigned from their seniors.
                                • Ensure team development. & optimum capacity utilization.
                                  • To drive initiatives like TPM & WCM & maintain highest standards of quality.
                                  • Awareness about responsible care (Environment, Health, Safety and Security)

                                    Qualification & Experience

                                    • B.E / B. Tech Chemical Engineer
                                    • 4-6 years of experience in continuous chemical process

                                      Competencies (Technical, Functional & Behavioral)

                                      • Knowledge of Batch chemical process.
                                      • Working Knowledge of operation of pumps, compressors, blowers, safety valves and control valves.
                                      • Exposure in preparing SOP s and WI s of the concerned area.
                                      • Strong skills in adherence to quality / safety norms.
                                      • Understanding and experience of manpower handling.
                                        • Exposure to WCM activities and TPM / TQM concepts.
                                        • Experience in DCS / PLC based control systems in plants. ",
