Job Description

Applications are invited for the post of Project Research Scientist-I (Non-medical) for an Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), Government of India-funded project entitled at Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore, T.N, India.

Title of the Project

Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) to Identify Synergistic Antimicrobial Combinations for the Treatment of Carbapenem-Resistant Acinetobacter baumannii "

Qualification

Post Graduate Degree, including the integrated PG degrees
For Engineering / IT / CS - Four Years Graduate Degree.
Candidates with hands-on experience in clinical microbiology and animal experimentation will be preferred.

Describe if any

Ideal candidates should have

Prior knowledge and experience in artificial intelligence, deep Learning, machine learning, and explainable artificial intelligence (XAI).
Knowledge and experience in the development of interpretable machine-learning models with human-understandable features.
Hands-on experience in Microbiological work/animal experimentation
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Stipend

Rs. 61600 (Rs 56 000/+10% HRA), 5% increment for the third year.
