Job Description
Applications are invited for the Post of Project Assistant for DBT Funded Project at Centre for Biomaterials, Cellular and Molecular Theranostics, Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore, T.N, India.
Title of the Project:
4D bioprinting of smart nanocomposite artificial bone ECM with shape memory and therapeutic delivery functions
Duration:
1 Years
Location:
Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore
Qualification:
M.Sc / M. Tech (Chemistry, Material Science, Biomaterials, and Nanotechnology) with a minimum of 55% marks. Preference will be given to candidates with NET or GATE Score.
Skill set required:
Candidate with work experience in biomaterial synthesis, scaffold fabrication, additive manufacturing, and stem cell culture is desirable.
Stipend:
Rs. 20,000/- + 8% HRA per month for a year, as per the Institute norms.

DBT, Government of India
Work functions of the JRF:
The project will be required to do full time project related work to this specific project, in particular inorganic biomaterial synthesis and characterization, scaffold fabrication specific to bone tissue engineering applications.
