Job Description: Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for

the DST funded project in the Department of Physics, School of Advanced Sciences (SAS) at

Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Chennai (CRG/2023/007181).

Title of the Project: Electrodeposition of transition bimetal chalcogenides on MXene

incorporated Ni-Foam for environmental remediation through electrocatalytic overall water

splitting”

Qualification: M. Sc. in Physics with a minimum 70% marks or 7 CGPA (out of 10)

To execute the research work detailed in the entitled project, compilation of the results, report

preparation and presentation. The selected candidates will be permitted to register for the

Ph.D. program as per VIT rules and regulation.

Stipend: For JRF consolidated pay of Rs.37,000/- per month
