Applications are invited for the Post of Project Research Scientist - I (Non-Medical) for the ICMR INTERMEDIATE EXTRAMURAL GRANTS in the School of Electronics Engineering (SENSE), at Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT). (EM/Dev/IG/01918/2024 (E-Office-208354) dated 13-12-2024)
Title of the Project
:
Design and Development of Exoskeleton for Rehabilitation of Leprosy Affected Individuals with Motor Paralysis of Hand .
Qualification
:
- Bachelor s/ Master s/ PhD degree in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields, or significant practical experience in Rehabilitation Engineering and 3D visualization.
Describe if any
- In-depth understanding of biomechanics, human anatomy (specifically hand function), and rehabilitation engineering principles.
- Knowledge of clinical requirements for assistive devices and an understanding of leprosy-related motor impairments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and collaboration skills to work with clinicians, engineers, and rehabilitation specialists.
Stipend
:
Rs. 56,000/- (+ HRA as admissible) per month , stipend will be as per Institute norms.
