Role & responsibilities

• Ensure compliance on all Stage/ Final inspection requirements as per the approved QAP/ Weld Plan and Inspection Checklist/ Drawings/ Procedures.
• Identify and report non-conformity of stage/ final product to In charge (QA/QC).
• Preparation of WPS, Heat Treatment procedures
• Supervision of Procedure/ Performance Qualification tests. Monitoring Welder Qualification continuity and re-qualifying Welders when their qualification expires.
• Preparation and issue of detailed list of Qualified welding personnel.
• Spot checking during production welding activities.
• Spot check for welding consumables baking.
• Responsible for supervision and co-ordination of all NDT activities including Heat treatment.
• Material inspection correlates with traceability.
• Ability to interpreting the drawings, specification and code.
• Basic knowledge in welding field
• Supervision and co-ordinate of all NDT activities including heat treatment

Preferred candidate profile

Male Candidate can only apply and ready to relocate anywhere in India.

Candidate must have EPC projects Industry Experience

Qualification

Minimum Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with NDT level II certification

Experience and Skills required

• Evaluate the discontinuities as per code/customer requirement.
• Basic computer knowledge in MS office.
• Basic knowledge in welding field. Reading the Drawings, Specification and Code.
• Stage wise daily Inspection, final Inspection as per Drawings
