About the role

We are seeking for Senior Quality Engineers with a background in Mechanical Engineering and specialized experience in Structural , Piping & Tanks.

Responsibilities

• Verification of materials, mill test certificates and confirming compliance to the code & company requirements during IMIR clearance.
• Must have experience as Lead Quality Engineer.
• Conducting welding procedure qualification tests and maintaining procedure qualification records (PQR) for Structural, Tank & Piping works.
• Preparation of Welding Procedure Specification & conducting Procedure Qualification test at site per requirement.
• Verification of welding consumables BTCs & conduct necessary Qualification test at site.
• Preparation of Job procedure & ITP pertaining to Structural, Piping & Tank works.
• Periodical Site Internal Audits.
• Visually inspecting the fit up & welded joints of Structural, Tank & Piping works.
• Welding inspection (surveillance checks before, during and after welding)
• Conducting all NDT inspections and preparation of all inspection records.
• Coordination with Customer for necessary day-to-day inspections.
• Piping test package preparation, review, and site verification and punching the pending activities.
• NDT Clearance of Piping Test packs.
• Hydrotest witness of Tank & Piping system.

Candidate requirements and Qualification

• Bachelors degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineer.
• 8-15 Years of experience respectively as Mechanical Engineer in Piping.
• Strong Understanding of Piping and Structure.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
