Job Description: Marketing & PR Manager

Position Overview:

• Oversee all marketing and PR activities (online and offline).
• Responsible for event management, online workshops, student excursions, and annual reports.
• Build and promote the organizations brand and reputation through strategic marketing and public relations initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans targeting students, teachers, and the community.
• Manage digital marketing efforts (content creation, social media, email campaigns, website updates).
• Ensure consistent branding across all marketing platforms and materials.
• Conduct market research to identify trends and audience preferences.
• Manage media relations, including press releases and media outreach.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers, and influencers.
• Address PR challenges and develop crisis communication strategies.
• Position the organization as a thought leader in the education sector.
• Plan, execute, and manage offline and online events (workshops, seminars, student excursions).
• Coordinate logistics for successful execution of events.
• Oversee the creation and management of annual reports and publications.
• Lead content creation for marketing materials (brochures, newsletters, reports).
• Ensure messaging aligns with organizational goals and branding.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather content for campaigns and events.
• Plan and promote online workshops for students and teachers.
• Engage with educational professionals to drive participation in workshops and events.
• Provide ongoing support and engagement for workshop participants.
• Build and maintain a consistent brand image across all marketing channels.
• Track, analyze, and report on marketing and PR campaign performance.
• Use insights from metrics to optimize future campaigns and strategies.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, Business, or a related field.
• Experience: 5-7 years of marketing, PR, or communications experience (education sector experience a plus).
• Skills:
• Media relations and event management experience.
• Proficiency in digital marketing (social media, SEO, email marketing).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Hootsuite, WordPress).
• Proficiency in analytics tools (Google Analytics, social media insights).
