Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic leader for the role for VP Cloud Solutions to lead the Cloud Solutions CoE team. This role requires a strategic leader with a strong technical background and proven expertise in cloud solutions, digital transformation and CCaaS related engagements. The role will be responsible to drive the efforts for design, development, and implementation of various internal projects or external projects, deploying proofs of concept (POCs) and managing the same further.

The leader for Cloud Solutions CoE team will be engaging directly with clients, internal and external stakeholders to present solutions, discuss business opportunities, offer solution proposals and/or manage the engagements further. The ideal candidate will excel in a client-facing environment and bring a blend of technical acumen and business development experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Leadership and Strategy
• Lead the Cloud Solutions team consisting of Solutions Architect, Developers, Pre-Sales Managers, etc., providing strategic direction, performance management, and team development.
• Define and execute the roadmap for CCaaS platforms and cloud solution initiatives, aligned with the organizations transformation goals.
• Identify and implement best practices in cloud and CCaaS technologies to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
2. Project and POC Development
• Oversee the planning, design, and execution of key internal projects, ensuring successful deployment of solutions.
• Lead the development and management of proof of concept (POC) initiatives to validate new technologies or solution approaches.
• Ensure that all projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget, while meeting stakeholder expectations.
3. Client and Stakeholder Engagement
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for client engagements, including solution presentations, demos, and technical discussions.
• Collaborate with the Sales and Business Development teams to identify and pursue opportunities in cloud and CCaaS markets.
• Foster strong relationships with clients to enhance their understanding of the value and impact of CCaaS solutions and cloud transformation initiatives.
4. Product and Solution Development
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive product development initiatives that align with client needs and market demands.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in CCaaS, cloud solutions, and related technologies to support continuous improvement.
• Provide guidance on cloud architecture, technology stack choices, and best practices in cloud and contact center solutions.
5. Team Development and Mentorship
• Mentor, train, and develop team members to ensure high performance and professional growth within the team.
• Build a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence across the CCaaS / Cloud Solutions team.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional, or equivalent) is a plus.
• 10+ years in IT transformation/leadership roles, with at least 5 years in digital solutions, cloud solutions or CCaaS environments.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms, SaaS / PaaS / CPaaS / CCaaS platforms (like Genesys Cloud, Amazon Connect, NICE CXOne, Five9, Talkdesk, etc.), and associated technologies, with ability to review and discuss solution designs or architectures.
• Demonstrated success in client engagement, product presentations, solution cost and effort proposals, and building client relationships.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines and work with cross-functional teams, and experience with agile methodologies and project management tools
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with experience managing and motivating a diverse technical team.
