Primary Purpose

To support the HR department in day-to-day operations, focusing on the administration of HR policies, payroll processing, employee benefits, and ensuring the efficient operation of the HR function in alignment with organizational objectives.

Key Activities and Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal regulations and company standards.
• Manage employee records and documentation, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with personnel data.
• Support the recruitment process when needed
• Facilitate the on boarding process for new hires, including preparing employment contracts, conducting orientations, and ensuring smooth integration into the company.
• Administer and process payroll accurately and on time, including salary adjustments, overtime, bonuses, and deductions, ensuring compliance with tax laws and employment regulations.
• Administer benefits programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, leave policies, and any other employee assistance programs, ensuring employees are informed and supported.
• Coordinate training and development initiatives, scheduling training sessions, tracking participation, and evaluating program effectiveness.
• Assist with performance management processes, including the coordination of performance reviews and management of performance improvement plans.
• Address employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to employees and management, and resolving conflicts or concerns.
• Participate in HR projects, such as HR analytics, employee engagement surveys, and process improvement initiatives.
• Serve as a point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and managers, providing timely and accurate advice.

Experience & Qualification

• Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in an HR role, with a solid understanding of HR operations, best practices, and payroll processing.
• Knowledge of employment laws, payroll tax laws, and regulations.
• Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information System), payroll software, and Office Suite.
