Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Identify potential vendors and suppliers for solar EPC projects.
2. Evaluate vendors based on criteria such as quality, reliability, pricing, and delivery
timelines.
3. Develop comprehensive RFP documents outlining project requirements,
specifications, and evaluation criteria.
4. Develop vendor management.
5. Manage the RFP process, including issuing RFPs to vendors, conducting bidder
conferences, and addressing vendor inquiries.
6. Analyze bids received from vendors, comparing proposals against project
requirements and budget constraints.
7. Collaborate with project stakeholders to evaluate vendor proposals and select the
most suitable suppliers.
8. Negotiate contracts with selected vendors, ensuring favorable terms and conditions
for the company.
9. Finalize contract agreements, including pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms,
and etc.
10. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and subcontractors.
11. Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns that may arise
during project execution.
12. Develop procurement plans and strategies to support the timely and cost-effective
execution of solar EPC projects.
13. Continuously assess market trends, industry best practices, and emerging
technologies to optimize procurement processes.
14. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and industry standards
throughout the procurement process.
15. Identify and mitigate procurement risks, proactively addressing potential issues to
minimize project delays and cost overruns.
16. Provide support on site during execution.
Qualification Requirements:
1. Bachelors degree in engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain
Management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
2. Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on solar EPC
projects.
3. Experience in Procurement Software like SAP etc.
4. Understanding on government regulations/Tax structure.
5. Strong knowledge of the solar energy industry, including solar technology, market
trends, and regulatory requirements.
6. Proven track record of successful vendor management, contract negotiation, and
cost optimization.
7. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
8. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects
simultaneously.
